Charity Kickball Tournament

TOURNAMENT DETAILS:

• Location: Glendale Sports Complex (Fields #2 + #3)
• Tournament Duration: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Game Length: 30 Minutes (guaranteed to play 4 games)
• Teams in the Tournament: Four (because...we don't want to be there ALL day - right?)

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Team Formation: No need to assemble your dream team; this tournament is all about getting social while you're getting some physical activity. Lace up your sneakers and get ready to compete as four unique teams battle it out for the coveted title of 'December 15th National Kickball Champions' (we're still working on the title) . Each team will be a blend of seasoned kickball players and those new to the game. Team Assignments will occur once all spots have been filled (Aiming for 12/4)

• Kick with a Purpose: Each kick, every dash, and every catch fuels a larger mission. A share of the event's proceeds will directly benefit HFC (Hilarity for Charity)—a national non-profit on a mission to care for families impacted by Alzheimer's disease.

WHAT YOUR REGISTRATION FEE PROVIDES:

• 2 hours of guaranteed Play Time
• Medals for the top two teams (you have a 50% shot at achieving this)
• A donation to a fantastic charity
• The chance to meet new (probably super cool) people in the area

HFC doesn’t technically stand for Help for Caregivers, but maybe it should. Family caregivers of people with dementia endure huge emotional, financial, and physical difficulties. So many of them put their careers, personal lives, finances - everything - on hold to take care of loved ones. HFC’s goal is to transform the caregiving experience for young people and families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease, increasing their well-being and helping them thrive. Money raised from this tournament will go directly to a family in need of in-home care relief.
