Meet at the Tim Kelly lifeguard memorial at the beginning of Hermosa Pier at 6pm. The meetup will start with a quick get to know you question and then the walk down towards Manhattan Beach at 6:15 will begin. Once everyone returns to the pier there will be a social hangout at Sharkees.

Something New will assign all players into teams based on your neighborhood. At the end of the day, one neighborhood will be crowned the overall winner of the Local-ympics! The games will be similar to what you see at a Field Day... but on the beach! Fun & playful, olympics-inspired games. Everyone can enjoy it, no athletic skills needed!

Join 60-80 adults for a giant game of Capture the Flag. Show up to the park, receive a random team assignment, stretch as a group, then get ready for 50 mins (ish) of play. After the game we’ll share pizza and get to mingle a bit with all of the capture the flag competitors. This is a great way to get out, get active, and get social.
