Jazz in the Garden

Enjoy a new seasonal program called Golden Hour, held in the Sculpture Garden. This event features a live jazz performance, a happy-hour wine menu in the Garden Café and drop-in drawing supplies for guests to check out. Relax with friends and loved ones while soaking in the beautiful garden views.

‘Handmade in Venice’ is hosting a beginner friendly ceramics workshop on the patio @ MUD\WTR :gather on Main Street. You will learn both coiling & pinching handbuilding techniques to make your own mug, bowl or whatever your imagination leads you to create. All levels are welcome!

Blind Book Exchange

Femme bien lue [well read woman] is a monthly LA based event series that aims to foster a community of creativity & inclusivity for all women through a shared love of literature.  Each guest is asked to bring a favorite, pre-loved book, wrapped in paper. You will be given a cute femme bien lue library card and pocket to fill out clues on the book. Books are laid out and you will get to pick and bring home another guest's book based on clues on the library card that speak to you.

Talks & Telescopes

The evening begins with the talk at 5:30 in our Auditorium, followed by observing through both the 60- and 100-inch telescopes from dusk to 11:30PM — the two largest telescopes in the world available for public use.  Additional stargazing around the grounds will be available from members of the Los Angeles Astronomical Society. Food will be available for purchase from a food truck, or bring your own picnic! (This event is currently sold out, but there might be a waitlist!)
